Milestone 19. Publications and congresses: Latin American journals

With the support of the Getty Foundation of the United States and in collaboration with TAREA-IIPC, the Revistas de Arte Latinoamericano digital project was launched, under the direction of Andrea Giunta, Laura Malosetti Costa, Cristina Rossi and Nora Altrudi. The initiative included the digitization of complete collections of Latin American art magazines that were incorporated in stages for public consultation in revistasdeartelatinoamericano.org.
The project also framed the I and II International Conference of Studies on Latin American Cultural Journals (2017 and 2018), which sought to understand the journals as scenarios of ideas; as spheres of exchanges and constructions in relation to a specific geographic space.
