Milestone 23. Exhibitions at Espigas

With the new Espigas headquarters, a space for temporary exhibitions was inaugurated. In 2018, Afiches 68, curated by Isabel Plante, brought together a collection of 1968 posters from Latin America and Argentina with exhibition announcements. In 2019, the exhibition Memoria en vilo: auras anónimas de Beatriz González curated by Carolina Vanegas Carrasco presented the Colombian artist's work reflecting on political violence in that country. That same year, following a call by Espigas in conjunction with the IDAES School, Giulia Murace, Larisa Mantovani and Milena Gallipoli were selected to curate the exhibition A Day in the Life of Mario Canale from his documentary collection.
